Word Book Homework!
We have received all your pre-ordered Word Books. It was so much fun to see what everyone ordered and try to imagine what theme would be used on each one.
If you prepaid for the class, you will get a $15.00 credit to pick out your papers, embellishments, ribbons etc. This is your homework: You will need to come by the store and pick out your papers, ribbons & embellishments PRIOR to class. Here is what you will need to consider before you use your credit:
1. Pick out papers that will coordinate with your word/theme. You will need to choose 12 x 12 papers, double sided papers are great to use. Solid Cardstock will make your letters pop, if you use them with patterned papers. You will need 1- 12 x 12 sheet of paper per letter or symbol. I would pull 2 or 3 extra sheets for good measure, and for frames etc. Have your book with you when choosing papers, it will help you decide on what papers you need and which order they will go in.
2. You will need to pull ribbons that coordinate with your papers. I would select 3 or 4 different colors and get 1 yard of each. This will be tied on your jump-rings after book is assembled.
3. Embellishments: Flowers, charms, letters, bling, etc. anything to accent your project or theme.
This class will take longer than the usual classes do, so I will be at the store for 4:00pm on Thursday afternoon, for those of you who want to get an early start or need help arranging papers, but please have your "homework done" before class.
